Socialisation Service

The Light UK provide a socialisation service to those who are not always able to access the community independently and just need a friend to do their favourite things with. We offer a bespoke service to adults with additional needs, physical impairments and those who would enjoy some extra company.

Sometimes using buses and public transport can be a little daunting, our staff can assist you and build your confidence to be able to do your favourite activities whenever you like.

Our workforce is open to different ideas and new places, so If you have an activity in mind share it with our staff!

Don’t worry if you don’t want to do an activity, maybe you just want to go for a walk in the park and get some fresh air.

As an adult with additional needs, an extensive initial assessment would be in place to understand the need of the adult. Once the needs are identified we will allocate a member of staff to provide a service and share the plan and the objectives.

This will support the adults to find a source of activity and interaction and promote their independence and confidence further.
